Some Bouquets from This Week!

This first photo is my favorite. Not only do I love the flowers, the light was better for the photography. I think I may have figured out a better lighting situation!

This next one looks a little flat in the photo, but is lovely in real life! I also worked to make it attractive from all sides. I’m finally getting enough flowers to move away from bouquets with a very definite face and rear.

A couple close ups of cosmos…

I love the color palette of this next bouquet. I can’t wait for more of those creamy dahlias to appear in all of their elegant goodness! Also, I’ll definitely be planting more of the butterfly weed in the future. This plant was a volunteer, but I absolutely love the orange color, tiny clusters of flowers, and beautiful shape. And this arrangement also has the first few tiny celosia plumes of the year. Lovely! I took this bouquet to a coffee shop in my neighborhood along with a stack of business cards. Hopefully it will spread some joy this week!

This next one isn’t really an arrangement, I just stuck a handful of flowers in a cup for my worktable, but these vibrant colors have brought me so much joy this week!

These are my first two attempts at market bouquet orders. They head out this afternoon!

The last five photos were arrangements from my flower stand on Saturday. I’m quite pleased with how they turned out, but I do want to improve the photography next time. I only sold one bouquet, but I’m okay with that! It was a good practice day, I enjoyed playing with flowers, and the arrangments all found good homes :).

I also sold one bundle of Cannes Orange snapdragons to a local florist this week. That was nerve wracking, but exciting!

I’m a bit concerned about the weather forecast for this evening. We have rumors of high winds, hail, and possible tornadoes in the area. Yikes. Here’s hoping it decides to pass us by!

I hope you’re having a lovely day!

wish I was close by to buy your flowers. I really like how you combine dried with fresh.

I wish you could stop by! And thank you :). The fresh/dried flower combo was formed out of necessity at first, but I’ve found myself gravitating towards it even as I harvest more fresh garden flowers.
